I'm back!

Hello my fabulous friends!

I'm back and I hope everyone's summer has been going wonderfully. There has been tons going on at Avenue You Beauty Store this summer! Lots of fabulous new products have been and will be added to the store, plus we've developed an exciting monthly newsletter which will be sent out via e-mail to those who subscribe.

Now for my favorite thing about being a beauty consultant: cool new beauty products!

First off, nothing makes me more excited than when OPI comes out with a new collection as I'm a total OPI junkie. I am always changing my nail lacquer so I demand color variety! They have just released their stunning "La Collection de France" which features what I'd describe as "decadent fall colors". The colors in this collection bring to mind feelings of romance and opulence and I'll be honest, I just can't resist them! Sin City Style

The brilliant lights shining sensuously against a deep black sky; the mysterious and alluring energy lingering in the hot desert air; there's just something about the city of Las Vegas that makes a woman feel... sexy. In less than two weeks I will be on a plane on my way to fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada and I have been doing some serious preparations. If I'm going to be in the sexiest city in the world, I have to fit in. It's only right to want to shine as brightly as the Las Vegas strip, and why shouldn't we all?

Nails to Envy

For all the women who walk into the nail salon and reluctantly pay exuberant prices for artificial nails that only further damage their natural ones... the time has come! For all the ladies with peeling, weak, short nails, whom have to hide their hands away with shame... the time has come! The time has come to say "Tips? These aren't tips..." and not be a liar! It is time to raise those beautifully manicured hands up in the air and say "Yes, they're natural... and they are fabulous!"

Fingernails can be weak and brittle for many reasons from the body lacking nutrients such as Calcium, Vitamin E or protein, to washing hands with harsh dish detergents or soap. When the cuticle of the nail is dry and damaged, nail growth is inhibited and any growth that does occur will be slow, thin, and easily breakable.

All my life, I have struggled with weak, peeling nails. I always kept them short because they were so prone to breaking or I would go get artificial nails, which only made matters worse. Summer is here! Are you ready?

After a long, cold winter it's finally time to bust out our teeny bikinis and soak up the summer sun... right? For some of us, not quite.
